ArcelorMittal&GONVVAMA presented at 6th China lightweight vehicle summit 2019

In order to decrease energy consumption, reduce pollutant emission and improve vehicle performance, OEMs always pay key attention to the vehicle lightweight technologies. The 6th China Lightweight Vehicle Summit 2019 was held on April 11th-12th in Shanghai, the summit keeps up with the latest trends of automotive lightweight policy in Chinese market, and global lightweight trends. Over 500 technical experts from FAW, SAIC, BAIC, Volvo… gather to explore the hottest issues of vehicle lightweight, provide best solutions and share real case studies during one main forum and three sub-forums.
 
ArcelorMittal and GONVVAMA attended the summit to showcase cutting-edge automotive steel solutions in line with the latest trends. Jean-Noel GACEL, ArcelorMittal Senior Research Engineer gave a speech on "Steel Solutions and Answers to New Automotive Trends for Electrification” and the Metal Material Sub-forum.

In addition, he also shows the S-in-motion® latest steel battery box solution, which can realize modularization and cost optimization.
